There are many who have started new jobs in the freelancing marketplaces. Naturally, it takes a while to get a client at first, a problem that happened to me also. Marketplaces are very competitive now, so you need to adopt different Promotional Strategies to sell your services. You can start the promotion with Facebook. Below are some step-by-step strategies for you:

Step 1:

First, search on Facebook with different Keywords (Data analysis, Statistics, Research, Ph.D., etc.). Then you will be added to the Relevant Group (note the picture). However, it must be noted that the groups have Foreign Clients Ed, regular posts and posts have good engagement.

Step 2:

Do not sell your service directly. Your post may not be approved and the post will not have many views.

Step 3: 

First, introduce yourself by sharing good content related to your service. You will be added to the group every day for 5-10 hours and post your content there regularly.

Step 4:

Next, shorten the content and add a link to your service (note the picture). From there, you can add interested clients to Facebook. Many clients post their work in groups and ask them to inbox. Once you get the job done, you can communicate with your portfolio. So always keep some samples of your work ready.

Step 5:

Then, you can make a Facebook Page / Group with a good name, description, cover image related to your service. Where always share good content related to your service. Foreign clients need to be added there.

I did by myself some data analysis and Research job of about 150 dollars from Facebook. So do not be discouraged and keep trying. In shah, Allah will be successful.
